Congratulations to the GU12 - Talone team coached by Tom Talone, Dan Palermo, and Guy Bianchi on another successful season! The girls finished off their third undefeated RDYSL season in 4 years (one of those playing up an age level) with an RDYSL Division one record of 11 - 0 - 1. This was the best record of all Division 1 teams on the girls side of the RDYSL standings. In addition to the strong RDYSL showing, the girls also won the Akron, Irondequoit, and Lancaster Tournaments. Their overall record for the season was 27 - 3 - 3 in which they scored 88 goals while surrendering only 18.

In this teams fifth full season together, 2 major milestones were accomplished: The victory in the 9th game of the season marked the teams 100th RDYSL, Outdoor Tournament, Thruway League victory and in the 15th games of the season the girls tallied their 500th RDYSL, Outdoor Tournament, Thruway League goal. Overall they have totaled an impressive record going 120 - 17 -14 in their first 5 years together. Special thanks to the parents of the GU12 team for your continued support and dedication that helps make this team as successful as they are.

Cobras BU16 team finishes RDYSL season undefeated
by posted 07/23/2014

Cobras U16Bs team coach by Bob Donahue, Ryan Borcyk and Joe Marino finished the 2014 RDYSL season with a 12-0 record and are the only division 1 RDYSL team boys or girls to finish with an unblemished record.  They out scored their opponents by a 48-9 margin and had 6 shut outs along the way.  The team also won the Elite Division of the Baltimore Mania College Showcase tournament earlier this season and competed very well in the top division of the Thruway League for the 5th consecutive year and performed well in a number of other college showcase tournaments throughout the season.

The team comes from 14 different school districts from Monroe County and beyond.  We wish all of out boys good luck as they enter their junior years of high school.

Also of note, team member Elijah Jarvis (top row and third from the right in the team photo) was chosen to play for the Antigua U17 World Cup team.  The team won its preliminary qualification games and is now preparing for the U17 World Cup to be held in the Dominican Republic in the coming weeks.  Good luck Elijah.
